Battle of the Bands competition 2008

The Battle of the Bands competition will run from February to April with four bands performing each night.

Prizes

First prize: £1000

Second Prize: A dinner and free drink at the Lark for all band members (and a guest each)

Terms and Conditions

1. All bands entering this competition must consist of members aged 21 or over.
2. No shouting and, sorry, no metal.
3. When entering the competition, please tell us what part of the country you're from (this will let us put bands from out of town on first so we may help with their travel arrangements).
4. Drums will be supplied by The Lark in the Park.
5. All bands must bring their own breakables - no excuses!
6. Please turn up on time!
7. If you don't turn up on your night you will be eliminated from the competition.
8. Bands playing on the same night will be given other bands' details so you may share amps etc.
9. Bands will play on thursday, friday, saturday or sunday nights - please tell us if you have a preference.
10. 40 minutes will be allocated for each set.
11. Judging (on quality of performance as well as the amount of support) will be done by Sami Robinson who runs The Lark in the Park.
